@TechTangents@dialup.space Was not clear from the video. You read/heard AI, judged a book by it's cover. You did reach out later, yes, but your instant and visceral reaction was 'AI bad!' It's possible that the user did so with local models, their own electricity/water etc. Yes, you ended up loving the product but you immediately tainted it for some people because that was your instant reaction. AS a so-called 'influencer' you have the ability to make or break a product with reactions like that, and that felt... Dirty. Harsh in a way nothing else I've come across of yours, was. You do you, and nothing some random guy on the internet says is going to change that, but I'm just giving my thoughts as a subscriber. I'm not here to argue, tell you you're wrong blahblahblah keyboard warriors make me oh so tired. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, genuinely. Thank you.

@FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com I appreciate you being cordial about it. I didn't go into all the details they told me, it was not a local model though. As an "influencer" I don't want to endorse people using using AI. And I gave examples of why I think it is bad in the video. To divulge more from my conversations with JJ, he enjoyed the video. And the ATAboy also sold out after the video went live. There is no ill well between he and I.

@FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @TechTangents@dialup.space AI has a moral and environmental dilemma that may never be addressed just due to the market desires; that disclosure is more important for one's own choosing than any value or benefit it ultimately poses. DasherJJ is a credible creator in his own right, so the question boiled down to "what made it make sense" and that was simply not having another recourse. No one else had the answers to the issue in JJ's circle. Where AI got its info, we don't know, it may not even source that correctly.
