@liztai@hachyderm.io looking forward to hearing more from you on this one. This October has so very many cDrama releases that I am finding it hard to focus on just a few shows at a time! My watchlist is ever growing but I am open to suggestions. I’ve currently got two dramas on the go with Li Yitong that take on the themes of perception, manipulation, and place of women in a social context of deceit/deception: 1. the marvellous Republic Era ***A Prophet*** about a multi generational sect of grifters and charlatans (fascinating) 2. a modern drama ***The Vanishing Beauty*** about a naive and privileged self-proclaimed trophy-wife influencer who attempts to take her life and wealth back from a faithless husband. #cDrama
