I am not in favor of a blanket ban on unspecified "datacenters". As a technologist—over 35 yrs of professional experience in networking technology—I can tell you that they are a necessary part of the modern communications #infrastructure. Having them located nearby has benefits. #Datacenters *should* be strictly regulated as to power consumption, to prevent them from wrecking everything. It's the nature of computing techology that efficiency is secondary to power/profit. #Vermont #VTpol
