Yeah I don't know that it will work out quite like that but here is to hoping:
Iraqi Government Spokesperson:
▪️The Iraqi government has not accepted the proposal to extend the presence of (US) coalition forces.
▪️Talks with the Resistance groups are ongoing, and the date for the withdrawal of US forces has been set for September 30.

@Sovereign@nicecrew.digital There is no reason for them to let the US stay since Iran has shown that they US can't even defend themselves, let alone anyone else. The only leverage the US has left is to use force on Iraq, but even that will ring hollow given how exhausted the US forces are.
