I’m all stocked up on disposable face masks again. It was a pleasant surprise to me to see how much wearing a mask helps on days when the pollen or pollution counts are high, too. They’re not only for disease prevention. I would have started wearing them decades ago if I had known they were helpful in those other situations, too. #Masks #AirQuality #Allergies

@lydiaschoch@mastodon.social A #respirator is also good for pongy jobs like turning over the compost. It doesn't eliminate the smell completely, but it certainly helps.

@lydiaschoch@mastodon.social I guess I should wear a mask outside on these high ragweed pollen days, right. I just bought some breatheteq masks from https://canadastrong.ca/collections/breatheteq-easy-breathing-kn95-made-in-canada-95-pfe on recommendation of @vlrny@disabled.social (thx). 😷😷😷 They are very breatheable! And they come in sizes for adults and kids ... what a relief to wear a properly sized mask, it makes a huge difference! (I chose small, and it is perfect!)
