I've seen Canadian doctors say similar things in public to the ones in the documentary with no professional rebuke, and worse, I've seen these attitudes and even been subject to them by mental health professionals!!

@serge@babka.social This is terrible. I wish I could help. I was in Vienna last week and there is a big cemetery there with a large old jewish section. It made me ferl tremense grief. No matter how much jewish people were a part of society or fought in the first World War or were accomplished in their jobs or massive benefactors. This did not protect them from harrassment or persecution or hatred in any period. I know jews were always trying hard and it was not enough and never will be in the eyes of antisemites. Without having a say in it either.
