@michal@101010.pl I don't understand why people like delta chat so much. It seems a bit clumsy to me the frankenstein email for instant messaging. An if you host mail on gmail or outlook, than what is the point. I'd rather use #XMPP, a platform that makes sense

@jaj@mastodon.social @michal@101010.pl it is a tradeoff. Indeed, email is not an optimal choice as a carrier, but it is the last protocol of that kind which survived in overall usage without becoming a walled garden (yet).
