Just replies to this two-comment-long chain where we’re now talking about elephants. Did you know that it’s theorised they’re the largest surviving land animal mainly because they’re the only large land animal that co-evolved with humans, so had appropriate fear and awareness to avoid being hunted to extinction, whereas other similarly-sized creatures wouldn’t see humans as a threat, so would be vulnerable.
