@katzentratschen@mastodon.social @dictor@gaygeek.social @geoffl@mastodon.me.uk "fun" times ahead! welcome to our world of fakes, pedants, and the devils in the details. a mildly entertaining/ annoying read: so someone shows me a screenshot of an #openai tester page showing the following image is #AI (from my original post) well not good enough, i want to verify i go to openai myself, upload, and yes: this is AI so i remove the image and thank the poster sincerely. i don't want to post AI 1/x

@benroyce@mastodon.social What I remember first and foremost, is don't drive in the dark in October/November (rutting season for White Tail deer), lest ye hit those horny fuckers! π¦ π I've been hit by two at dusk+ right here, in early November. So there's good reason why locals put those tubular steel bumpers on the front of their pickups: they do save money in the long run. π

@benroyce@mastodon.social Is this a JoJo reference? (spoilers: Yes. It is. See Weather Report. And yes, it turned animals into snails also.)

@benroyce@mastodon.social At least if someone eats those snails, instead of the universal "tastes like chicken" comment, they'd probably say "tastes like venison."

@benroyce@mastodon.social @katzentratschen@mastodon.social @dictor@gaygeek.social @geoffl@mastodon.me.uk haha thank you for the picture! π€£ I understand better now. π€‘ No harm done IMO. Gave me a good laugh though. Personally I do not care if this is AI or real - no harm done is no harm done.
