The most awesome thing Amazon ever did, fir me as a customer, was stop-by-stop delivery monitoring.
When I look at the page and it says "your driver has 8 stops until your delivery" - I'm a 5 year old on Christmas eve all over again. 100% emotionally invested, even though I paid for it and know they're just AC filters.

@tbortels@infosec.exchange fantastic podcast episode from Planet Money about the story behind this, and why Domino’s pizza tracker in the mid-90s changed the entire world of commerce forever after (and they had no idea). https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/planet-money/id290783428?i=1000790531540
