@ldottxt@kind.social I have a few lofty-sounding ideas about my metamour’s car payments and my best friend’s daughter’s college education. I think at first it would look like having way too much properly researched fun with Silent Donor International and getting delightfully silly amounts of takeout.

@ldottxt@kind.social Step 1: Pay off any debts (personal, mortgage, etc.). Step 2: Give a meaningful gift to anyone important in our lives. Step 3: Break off $1,000,000 per person to have fun with. Step 4: Put the rest in a bank and live off the interest. Fun things I’d like to do: - Buy a MINI Cooper, my favorite kind of car - Maybe get a holiday house around Buffalo, where the real estate is cheap. - Guitars and Computers. Guitars and Computers everywhere.

@ldottxt@kind.social 1. Wife's student debts. 2. Modest house in Agaete. 3. Nonfancy living for the rest of my life. 4. Rest goes to mutualaid toots and charities over time.

@ldottxt@kind.social The kids would each have a house. Grandkids would have future college paid for. We would set up something to fund the local high school theater and band programs. A friend who has trouble with affording his diabetes medications and supplies would not have that problem anymore. We could travel.

@ldottxt@kind.social After the initial electronics and crafting supply shopping spree: Buy a house. Fill it with antique furniture. Hire a maid/cook person to make sure we eat proper food and that the house gets cleaned occasionally... Then I don't know, maybe go to a private doctor to go through all my available data to see the big picture of all the things wrong with me and make a treatment plan. And a private trainer to get me off my ass?
