@HeatherInNZ@mastodon.nz It would be better for me if Facebook died rather than if I left it.
Facebook dying would mean that my family would also have to find somewhere new, whereas me leaving would just mean I vanished.
(My Facebook is down too.)

@thomasbeagle@mastodon.nz Well yes, exactly. I'm mostly on it for a few Facebook groups, but if FB died for good then those groups and ones like them would have to migrate elsewhere.
