@bajax@baj.ax there was a funny one a while ago that's still in the fedilist data that I had to filter out when seeding fedi-map: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/21977 was just more of a network attack than scammy spam. I've had to fight some spam here, but it's been relatively chill. One time a Chinese (I assume from the language headers) spammer was signing up for tons of accounts here from VPNs and after he got upset his accounts were getting nuked and VPN exits blackholed he messaged me saying >I need a lot of accounts to do business Sounds like spam to me buddy. @bajax@baj.ax @harblinger@wizard.casa Being relatively niche to the rest helps. Although Nostr is almost exclusively spam while being way smaller than fedi.
