Fewer than 28 days later...
Bunny have opened up their S3 beta. I'm not sure what the selection / approval criteria was, but I'm on it (after applying), and I'll be moving my instance's media over to it at the weekend..

Good news! The weekend has started early. Object storage migrated to bunny.net and is being served by their CDN (as it was previously, but that was just caching local storage). If fedizens spot that media from avatastic.uk has broken after today (2026-05-28) do let me know! (first post-migration media upload post is at https://avatastic.uk/@avatastic/116653510394727296)
