Just tried to explain to someone falling literacy rates and lack of support for public education as briefly as possible and I'm about to spontaneously combust. The inescapable conclusion is it's a "shut up and get a job" pipeline. The bros are killing us. Build a better system. Then blow the old one up. (If we blow up the existing system without a viable alternative it'll just get exponentially worse b/c nature and vacuums and power and patriarchy and colonialism.) Anyone else weary beyond words?
