I remember when the Linux kernel started using the GPL-2 License to prevent evil capitalism from happening. Well apparently, the kernel maintainers just took a round of steaming shits on the GPL-2 License and #AI is totally on the menu. Not good if you like a secure system. Not enough to avoid #systemD and other bloat. This is like having a treaty with the USA or Russia and getting totally invaded and communities destroyed. #NetBSD lives true to its roots, aiming for compatibility with carefully vetted code trees, and never has been a moving target. The choices we make today will save us endless grief decades from now.
