Yeah, horses are great, complete with their unique personalities. Agree— group rides are not enjoyable.
Perhaps you can make an arrangement with one of your neighbors to occasionally ride one of their horses? Maybe in exchange for watching them when they’re away?

@TimKStanton@mstdn.social I really need to get to know those folks. I've always thought it might be handy for them to have an extra person they could call when they need to exercise a horse.
