Actually that would get the tankers shot down in an instant.. It’s bullshit. There’s no case to be made for ”defensive air-to-air refuelling”. Under no operational circumstances is it safe for the airframes. Air-to-air refuelling is only practical for loitering air-to-ground operations into Yemen. 🤷‍♂️
