RE: https://graphics.social/@levork/116989069420010949 I thought I did that too when I wrote company-internal tutorials for my employer: express my personality and leave behind my artistic footprint even after I'm no longer with the company. My guides contained humor, wit, and explained complicated topics (for non-technical people) in an engaging and digestible way. Then my boss wanted to grow the team and hired not an additional engineer into our small and overworked team, but another manager. That guy became my new boss (and my former boss became my skip-level boss). One of the first actions of this new hire was to throw my guides into Confluence's trash bin and replace them with incomplete, error-riddled, badly formatted, partially incomprehensible garbage text. On that day I made the decision to resign.
