@stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe @luca@sironi.xyz Yep, I was just going to mention that there are people that do go to their doctor with answers from AI instead of trusting the doctor. I understand getting a second opinion, but you do that with someone in that field, not a LLM.

@claudiom@bsd.network @stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe @luca@sironi.xyz leaving aside the "AI", doctors are a poor example IMO. You can get wildly different diagnoses and treatment plans - after extensive tests - from two doctors working in the same practice. Their answers are very often filtered through their specialty, where and when they were trained, and their preconceptions. And of course bodies are far more variable and complex than computers. I think of medicine as much more of an art form than a science.
