Instead, they paid part of my phone invoice (roughly 80% in the end).

@EdwinG@mstdn.moimeme.ca @CStamp@mastodon.social Dual sim capability or as in the old Blackberry days, dual accounts on a device can provide the ability have the best of both worlds. 1 device, locked down personal account, phone and emails and, with a easy account switch, with business/corporate account, phone number and emails. No cut and paste between accounts. You could set limits on the business account, for business hours, out of office replies, Do Not Disturb, etc. Depending on the phone provider, a second billing number would be req'd. Easy to track data, events, etc.
