My father had an ancient Mac laptop that I couldn't wipe (one of the feline OSs; wipe wanted CDs). I went to the Apple store for help (either wipe or remove the hard drive so I can recycle). It drew some attention from techs who hadn't seen a working "Blackbook" in a while. (I hadn't heard that name before.) I was told it was in excellent condition, other than being slow & not supporting a modern OS. I left with the hard drive & they'll handle the rest, nice! Sticker on hard drive said 2007.
