If your husband wants to trade places for a few days (I come to listen to your practice and he can enjoy some cows and sheep in the meadow) to let his ears rest, let me know😉

Working with copies is easier if the production requires cuts, changes, or additions to the original score, and for some operas it’s the only way to make sure that everyone is working from the same version! I usually buy a printed copy for myself anyway and work from that, to be prepared to sing the role in other productions. But there is currently no Salome without English in print, and I had to 1/
