If you've seen a cartoon where the characters end up flying a plane, something goes wrong, and they find the manual and start reading "Congratulations on purchasing your new Zlin Aviation 7532 aircraft..." ...that's actually closer to the truth. The copilot gets out the Emergency Procedures handbook and starts reading out the steps one by one, slowly and calmly.
