Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2's localization is funny the game is called Tokyo Xtreme Racer but they make you use US plates and doesnt use Yen because I guess Americans are too stupid to understand that other countries do things differently

@CherryPixelBun@yiff.life One of the localised games in that series did a stupid thing, where they changed the yen to dollars, but also in the process made everything more expensive... To the point where it was impossible to finish the game because the amount of dollars needed to face the last opponent exceeded the limits of the money counter. Or something like that. I think it was Guru Larry who covered in one of his Fact Hunts.
