That 4th line is getting hard to read, though I know understand the meaning problem of list() = array() too. Words are hard, why can't they be simple like #PHP ?

@Exakat@phpc.social Words are a lot more descriptive (and better searchable) than two characters - [] - which have widely different meanings depending on the context in which they are used. Let's not do silly things like deprecate them.
