@jfmezei@cosocial.ca I've seen a claim that the net revenues will be low in the first few years of bridge operations — that surprises me, since I'd expect heavy use from the start, and maintenance costs are lowest then. Maybe it has to do with how the construction contract was structured.

@mpjgregoire@cosocial.ca the Windsor Detroit bridge authority has debts to pay. Removing 50% of its revenues prevents that.

@mpjgregoire@cosocial.ca I would have kept bridge closed and let Trump pay political price and repeat that when a deal is signed you can’t just unilaterally change it.
