Nononono pls don't do this all the time. I loved curated stuff by humans.

Holy $&@#%, it looks like they didn’t $@#% up the best hardware design they’ve had in decades for the 14” at least. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2026/10/apple-introduces-the-new-14-inch-macbook-pro-with-m6/

About 80 years ago, this thing was designed and made properly in Waltham Massachusetts and it’s still working now. There’s not a single bit of needless design wank. Not the smallest bit of distracting branding. It is as close to perfect as cost-optimized mass manufacturing can get and it is a beautiful thing that makes me smile.

RE: https://masto.ai/@transworld/117515827038331936 Good plan! ‘Don’t vote for the anti-trans Democrats’ because the Republicans LOVE trans people and everything will be fine if they stay in power. Morons.

Why ditch Spotify? Only the most successful artists make meaningful money, Spotify supports arms manufacturers, and streaming increases reliance on data centres. There are lots of alternatives, such as buying directly from artists on bandcamp. If you must stream, there's always NTS radio, music chosen by people, not algorithms. #digitalindependenceday #rescuecafe #cloughjordan

We're in a book! A few years back many of you loved Miriam Mulcahy's exploration of grief and loss, This is My Sea. In Walking to the Foot of the Sky, she walks in the footsteps of O'Sullivan Beare on the Beara Breifne Way. Mollie met Miriam when she passed through Cloughjordan & sent her up to see the Harry Clarke window, one of his best works. And there's Mollie in the middle of the story! Along with Knocknacree Wood, Scohoboy Bog & Sopwell.#clo...
