This new #Mastodon #interface is so bad, it could have been invented by Google. Chaotic, confusing. Could be in part because I'm simply used to the old thing. But that only goes to show change without real improvements is useless.

#Artemis https://arstechnica.com/space/2026/10/latest-estimate-for-starship-launches-required-to-support-a-moon-landing-22/

Hey #Elon, what is suddenly the problem with killing people? Remember when you 'fed #USAID into the wood chipper'? Death count in the millions, and counting. 'Sure but I could do that without using #Starlink, so no user agreement was violated.' https://www.volkskrant.nl/buitenland/elon-musk-oekraine-schond-voorwaarden-starlink-en-gebruikte-drones-om-mensen-te-doden~bc9888fd/

Trump and Vance’s Oval Office announcement turned into a spectacle of barely contained rage Donald Trump has found a new way to make America great again: paying people to become professional snitches. On Tuesday, the president and JD Vance unveiled a $25 million fraud whistleblower fund, under which Americans who provide tips leading to successful prosecutions would receive large financial rewards. Basically, you can rat on your enemies to the government for cash now — and, Trump added, he wi...

OK here are five Canadian finalists for the Eurovision Song contest. Although all clearly telented, IMO they are pretty mainstream generic contemporary pop entries. That said I would vote for William Cloutier as the most interesting and fun. Maybe its just me but Ive noticed the Eurovision song contest becoming more beige over the last few years. I prefer the more edgy weird stuff. #eurovision #eurovisionSongContest #canada #music https://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/eurovision-canada-fi...
