Spent half the day with @fabian_bader struggling with #Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent #AMA to connect DCs to #Sentinel. There are a lot of catches and pitfalls here. Hopefully one of us will have time to blog a bit about it.

Captain's log ⛵🥷 Today I've learned about some #infosec topics: 1. the SCAP protocol: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_Content_Automation_Protocol 2. Cross-site tracing: https://owasp.org/www-community/attacks/Cross_Site_Tracing 3. and (again) ACID 😵💫: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/acid-properties-in-dbms/ #LifeLongLearning

Had some busy days. The CISSP exam was really tough - but I did it 🎂 Now I'm full focused on XMas with little distractions to Administrative Access concepts. @thomasnaunheim has built some mind-blowing stuff (watch out for his blog) and I have to learn about Entra Permission Management for a customer POC. Exciting Days 🍍

Made and 3d printed these the other day. Yes, I used #ai, but I had to color the mesh by hand, it completely failed on that. #beastie #freebsd #3dprinting :freebsd:

Ok,I was a bit shy before, but because people keep asking, here's a link to my MakerWorld where the models are: (again, mesh was #ai generated (meshy), but all coloring was painstakingly by hand) #3dprinting #freebsd #bsd #ai https://makerworld.com/en/models/3215808-beastie-bsd-daemon#profileId-3640751 *edit* credit of course to Kirk McKusick the copyright holder (licensed for personal use)

@jae yes. They are on my makerworld profile here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3215808-beastie-bsd-daemon

I tried them out and there is no version of any universe where I would pay a monthly fee to use a browser. What an idiot idea that is. So, DDG is is!

Wow, I am *so* behind on modern JavaScript https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Statements/using

You accidentally merge ONE (1) pull request "co-authored" by an LLM and it just shows up in the Contributors section forever even after rewriting the Git history?

RE: https://fosstodon.org/@citationjs/117300508142020558 The cover photo is yellow *and* blue, get it? (I always make the cover photo of Citation.js a bright yellow, after the logo. But yellow is also for JS and here I add support for TS so blue)

Google Accused of Illegally Killing a Massive Forest for Its New Data Center Project: It's "gross incompetence," or "gross disregard" for the law. Or both.
